Rolling Project Pan Update #6

There is a lot of updates in this project and in all honesty, I probably should have done this sooner but here we are and I’m so excited to share my progress with you. I’ve been very good at applying makeup most days bar the few days where I’ve been very busy with work. I’d say even though I was doing a lot of similar looks, I was very excited about the process of applying makeup because I had more time to do it working from home. I also managed to get 20 makeup products out of my collection this year either by giving away to friends and familly or actually finishing up which really motivates me to keep going with this project. I’m rolling out 2/3 of my previous products from my mid April update so let’s get into it. Continue reading “Rolling Project Pan Update #6”

Minimal Makeup Bag: If I Could Only Keep One in Every Category

Even though I love beauty, I often feel like my collection got a bit out of hand recently and I wish that I had much less variety in some of the categories. In turn, I thought it’d be fun to go through my collection and pick one product in each category that I would keep if I had to only choose one. Now I wanted to be quite free with the selection so I didn’t exclude limited edition products or only picked the products I’ve used the most in that category. Rolling Project Pan Update #5

It’s no surprise that I have abandoned this blog for the last half a year while trying to figure out things in my life. Admittedly, the biggest reason why I stopped blogging was because I felt I was buying too much makeup and didn’t feel good about where my collection was going. But the truth is I love makeup and always finding myself coming back so here we are. I thought I’d start with a project pan update because while I pretty much stopped tracking all the products per se, I finally hit my goal on one very challenging product. I am also having a bit of an overhaul of the project so this will be a long post. Continue reading “Rolling Project Pan Update #5”

Rolling Project Pan Update #4

This update is definitely long overdue (#3 was published on Mar 31st) and I think I reached a point with this project when I’m not as excited as I was at the beginning. To be fair, in order to see progress on some of the products, I’ve neglected others and even then, it’s taken me longer to get there than I initially thought. I’ve not been too good focusing on some of the products and the prospects of adding in extra just doesn’t appeal to me so I’m rolling in less than I’m rolling out. Monochrome Cool Brown Makeup Look

Today’s post is mostly inspired by the latest addition to my lipstick wardrobe in the form of the new Chanel Matte Lip Crayon in Hazelnut and while I might have originally been drawn to it because well, I love hazelnuts, it quickly became the cool nude I always looked for and could never find.
